`M.elody The sound of light footfall sounded against the dirt road as Melody slowly made her way down the narrow country road. The pleasant sound of bird's singing echoed through the chilly morning air. The sun was peeking up right over the horizon, penetrating the few dull blue clouds still remained from last night. Two birds flitted across the road in front of Melody and a smile came to her expression as she wrapped her coat a bit tighter around her. She stopped and took a deep breath of the brisk morning air before situating her bag over her shoulder and hurrying on. It was going to be a great day, and she wanted to have a few hours to herself before heading to the school to take her music lessons. She was sure the sunrise was going to be breathtaking, so she had brought her paints to ensure she captured it. And of course she couldn't forget her flute. Maybe writing a new song would take away the stress from it being her first few days at the school.
A small opening in the fence line beside the road caught Melody's attention and she moved towards it, ducking underneath it and moving across the dew-laden grass towards the edge of the woods. She moved through the thin wooded area, following a path to a small clearing. 'this is a pretty place' She thought with a faint smile playing on her lips. She turned around with her head tilted to the sky. 'this is what I'm going to paint' She decided to herself. Sliding the bag off her shoulder, she placed it carefully on the ground and pulled out her paints and brushes and canvas. She set up her little easel and stretched the canvas over it. She choose her colors and set to work, letting the brush seemingly float over the blank page. Before long the tree-tops were beginning to take shape over the pale canvas. Melody continued on until she heard footsteps growing nearer. Her eyes left her work for a moment and she whipped her head around to see how was there.
((OOC: this is a pretty crappy post xD sorry))

Eric...
Eric walked down the greenish path, listening to the sounds of the the Spring like season. The flowers were beginning to bloom and the wildlife around him seemed to scurry lively around him. This was his favorite kind of day: Misty, sunny, green and warm. Life is beautiful... He decided.
He moved along the wet sponge ground, carrying his music sheets; ready to write the sounds he heard. Humming birds... C trill? Deers hooves... G staccatos? His wonderfulness thoughts...
There! There, down the road, he could see a... girl... sitting and painting what looked like a magnificent picture. It was full of green trees, grass and flowers. Dark brown showed where a path was.
He challenged his mind to go and confront this artist. She sat so beautifully on her chair, moving her wrist up and down on the canvas. Her hair was such a wonderful color blue and shown like the stars! He held still for fear of startling her.
He crept closer to see the master piece! Slowly... step by step... he at last was about four feet away from the canvas. He stared in awe at it's cleverness. It was a splendid image of what laid before them! The rocks, leaves and moss... it was all there, it detail.
"Incredible!" He almost shouted, blowing his cover.

`Melody "Incredible!" A voice exclaimed suddenly from behind Melody. Startled, she shot up from her stool so quick she dumped over the bag of her belongings that sat near her feet. She whipped around and her eyes rested on a young man standing near here. She froze and her cheeks instantly flushed crimson. "Oh!" She exclaimed suddenly, a bit breathless from the adrenaline that had rushed through her at the shock. She went quickly on, her words rushing into each other. "I didn't hear you coming, and I-I'm sorry" She took a deep breath and dropped her eyes to the ground, noticing the mess she had made. Her things, along with her flute, were scattered about the ground near her easel, which amazingly enough, still stood unharmed.
How foolish she must have looked. Here he was, this stranger, complimenting her work, and she had to go and make herself look like an idiot... She looked back up shyly and tucked a stray hair behind her ear, recovering slightly. "I'm sorry" She said again, but this time with a faint, sheepish, chuckle. She bit her lip and stooped to the ground to begin picking up her books and paints. She took a few in her arms and stood back up. "Oh, I'm Melody by the way." She said, suddenly remembering her manners. She walked lightly over to him and extended her delicate hand in greeting. "Thank you for your compliment." She added, shooting a glance at her unfinished artwork before looking back to the man for his response.

``Eric Spool . . . The girl jumped from her seat, all of her brushes and paints flying all around and a few even hitting him. He threw his arms up, to guard his face in pure defense. "Oi!" He yelled, his English accent clearly showing.
"I didn't hear you coming, and I-I'm sorry" She said, stuttering a bit as she did. She looked down, seeming to just realize the chaos she had just caused. He stood in awe, as she moved the hair from her face. She was even more beautiful than he first thought. Her blue hair seemed to shine in the sun light and her eyes were so easy to get lost in by just looking at them. She was an angel, he was sure of it.
"I'm sorry." [/s] She said again, looking very utterly embarrassed. "No no, it is completely alright!" He said as he got down on his knees in the dirt, to pick up her things. His pants would be completely dirty when he got back to the school and he wasn't quit sure how to explain to his students exactly how he became so dirty, yet. He began picking up some brushes that were scattered all around him, when she stood up to shake his hand. "Oh, I'm Melody by the way." She introduced herself. He reached up to shake her hand. "And I am Eric Spool. I run the School just down the road." He said with a smile, still peering into her gorgeous eyes. It was like he was in a trance. "Thank you for your compliment." She said, glancing back at the finished artwork. He remained frozen for a moment. "Your welcome. It is quite extraordinary!" He said, grabbing a few more paintbrushes and finally the flute. He went to the stool she sat on and placed all her things upon it, but as for the flute, he kept it in his hand. "Do you play then?" He asked, there was nothing more he wanted at the moment than to hear her play. She had to be wonderful at playing, judging at her beauty and skill with the brush. "Play." He said, he wouldn't realize that he had not asked, but rather commanded her, until later. He waited intently, handing her the flute, and still staring at her ocean eyes. For they were beautiful. (OCC. Okay, I know I said FINISHED artwork, that is because he thinks that is is! So, ah ha! And sorry for getting this up late, I hope you didn't use all your muse on someone's work!) [/b]
